Windows 8

Simply put, I do not recommend Windows 8.  I am not alone.  The marketplace has spoken loudly by rejecting computers with Windows 8.

Windows 8 is a completely redesigned form of Windows that bears no resemblence to the Windows you have seen or used before. It is designed to be used on a hand-held panel (like an iPad) with your fingers, not on a normal personal computer with a mouse and keyboard.

If you look in the right places, you can still find Windows 7 Professional equipped PCs.

If you are currently using a system with Windows XP operating system — you will see it displayed on the start-up screen — the useful life of your computer is going to be up soon. As of April 2014, Microsoft no longer provides security updates resulting in a system that is unsafe online. Other companies will discontinue and reduce Windows XP support. Your system cannot be upgraded. Your only choice is to buy a new computer. I advise you to do that soon so that you can avoid being forced to buy a Windows 8 system.

If your system uses Vista or Windows7 — BE HAPPY!
